Professional Photographer in Edinburgh
Hi, I’m Nash
I am Kenyan born but based in Edinburgh since 2022. I've worked professionally as a photographer & videographer for years, though my love for photography began as early as the 90s photographing my family and friends with a film camera.
Every photo shoot I do is unique and tailored to my clients needs, mood and style. My goal is to bring your vision to life paired with my creativity and experience in photography.
EDINBURGH PHOTO-SHOOTS
Ready to capture unforgettable moments in one of the world’s most atmospheric locations? Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, Edinburgh offers a charming backdrop of gothic and Victorian architecture which provide a moody vibe throughout the year.Check out some of my portrait shots from Kenya & Scotland
In the Scottish highlands you are greeted with the expanse of undeniable beauty. Scotland is famous for having 282 munroes (mountains above 900m high) and I happen to be an avid hiker and camper.I often visit the highlands and along the way scouting for interesting sites for photo shoots.
EVENTS PHOTO-SHOOTS

Your Questions, Answered
-
I specialise in portrait photography as well as events and occasionally weddings all with a focus on storytelling.
-
It rains quite often in Scotland and it’s hard to predict in advance what the weather will be. However, that doesn’t mean that the rain will ruin your photoshoot. If it’s light rain, we can go ahead with the photoshoot but if it’s heavy, unfortunately we might have to cancel or try and wait it out. Sometimes the rain actually adds into the atmospheric and gothic, moody vibes of the photoshoot. You might need to carry some light backup clothes just in case.
-
While doing the shoot, I occasionally take short slow motion and snippet videos which I provide to my clients just as extras.
-
Most of clients are not used to being in front of the camera. Every session is different and my goal is to help you relax, trust the process and most important, enjoy having your photos taken.
-
Sessions can take place anywhere in the UK but I am based in Edinburgh, where most of my shoots happen.
-
